week class, one hour a week. Generally, we plan an 8th week
as a make-up class. Written homeworks given out every week.
Dogs should be at least 4 - 5 months old. Skills learned in
beginner class include come, sit, down and stay; as well as
walking on a loose leash and heeling. Basic behavior problems
are addressed such as jumping up, mouthing/chewing, and "leave
it". Students are encouraged to ask questions and to discuss
problems at any time, in private or during class.

Obedience
Cost: $100
Intermediate
Obedience is a 7 week class, one hour a week. This class takes
up where Beginning Obedience leaves off. Dogs work toward off-leash
obedience, concentrating on recalls, stays and heeling.
Dogs
must have taken Beginning Obedience class or equivalent, and
should be at least an older puppy of 11 months or so. They will
learn some of the advanced obedience exercises, such as hand
signals, jumping and retrieving.
